I can't count how many times I have heard people say, "well now things should slow down for you guys." I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are still rolling in high gear. Phil has been bidding like a mad man and Tony and I have been playing catch up on paperwork. If you need work done however we would be happy to bid it out for you, just give us a call.

The whole Empire Crew came down to Dublin for the opening. It was a darn good time for all of us!! We spent the better part of the day down there. It was nice to be in there and not be working. My wife and I stopped in just this last week for supper. was a good meal for a good price. If you have not been I highly suggest getting down there.

But still lots to do so I had best get back to work.

Dublin Squares light at the end of the tunnel!

Wow, busy show and just as fast as it came it is gone. We got a few leads but are always on the hunt for more. After putting away the displays and taking back the rentals I was corralled into bringing some items to Dublin Square. Talk about a change. If you don't go every day you are just amazed at how this bar is moving along. For those of you reading this let me fill you in on what Dublin Square is.

Dublin Square Irish pub and eatery is the brain child of three men known as LaCrosse's Finest. "That is the parent corporation" Matt, Matt, and Tim sat down with Tony and Phil and hammered out the details of this project early in the fall. The concept was to create an authentic Irish pub and serve authentic Irish food. After months of applications, permits and meetings they obtained the final go ahead to get a demo permit in late December. Ever since then we have been in overdrive to turn the old La Crosse Leather and Fur and Herbal Healings space into Dublin. "Right Next door to Johns on the corner of 3rd and main"

I have to say. Kudos to our team of subs and employees, they have been working seven days a week trying to finish this job on time. Also our thanks is owed to the puppet master, our project manager Randy Nichols. Randy has been working countless hours and losing uncounted hours of sleep trying to bring this monster project in on time and within budget. Our projected time to open is April 1st!!! If you are in the downtown area Friday April 1st swing in for a cold one!

You are going to need to see this place!
Until next time!

Busy Times

This is our first crack at a Blog so hang on this may be a bumpy ride. Things are buzzing around the office! We are knee deep in preparations for the LABA Home and Garden Show this weekend at the Onalaska Omni Center. We picked up an Ipod Nano for a give away and a tv to showcase our new website. Phil and Tony are looking forward to the opportunity to meet lots of new people and hopefully some new clients. We hope to see everyone there. There will be lots of great businesses so stop in and say hi!

We finally took the leap and with the design help of The Blu Group we will launch our new web site hopefully........today. Tony and I have been writing copy, sorting pictures and finding links to make this site truly great. We are thrilled with the fresh look and ease of navigation. Check out the new site at www.empiredevelopment.com and see what we have been up to.

Of course we have had Randy "Nick" running like a mad man down at Dublin Square. This pub and eatery will be the only one of it's type in the lacrosse area. We couldn't be happier to be a part of this commercial project and hope you will check it out when she opens up! The projected opening is April 1st. Our thanks goes out to each and every worker and subcontractor that has been working so hard to make this come together is such short order.

Finally we have completed our office remodel. We have more than doubled the size of the office. We each have a large workstation and could not be happier. Stop in and take a look around. We will have a little grand opening party for the expansion most likely mid April. I'll keep you posted!

Well after setting up a YouTube page, fixing the temperamental printer, and taking a stab at this blogging thing I am about technologied out! (yes I know "technologied" isn't a word) I guess I will call it a morning and move on to bigger and better things. Have a great day!!
